New Solak by Paragon - more than an upgrade! Review
Просмотров 5 тыс.19 часов назад
The new Solak by Paragon Robert refined this bow and included now all his new techniques which he is using in Raider and Griffin also in the Solak. What can I say, the first Solak was already amazing, but the new one! A very different beast. A perfect shooter, draws very smooth up to 31” max draw 32”, in the handle is more weight, in the siyahs less. Just great. And this bow is stunningly beaut...

Thanks Armin for Introducing the Sanmun II, the latest innovation from the renowned Umaram Bow Company. Building on the legacy of its predecessor, the Sanmun, this new model embodies the strength, precision, and beauty of the sun and moon. Umaram has once again delivered a bow that captures the essence of excellence in asiatic archery. The original Sanmun has been a favorite among archery enthusiasts in Indonesia for its durability, lightweight construction, and exquisite finishing. Perfect for horseback archery, target shooting, and running archery, it set a high standard in the archery community. The Sanmun II retains all these beloved features while incorporating significant enhancements that make it even more outstanding. The Sanmun II has undergone rigorous R&D testing, including dry fire tests in Indonesia's hot weather, ensuring it can withstand extreme conditions without compromising performance. Maintaining the lightweight nature of its predecessor, the Sanmun II offers improved maneuverability, making it perfect for dynamic archery disciplines. With advanced materials and construction techniques, it provides exceptional accuracy, allowing archers to hit their targets with confidence. The aesthetic excellence of the Sanmun II is undeniable, continuing to honor the visual legacy of the Sanmun series with a design that reflects the harmony and elegance of the sun and moon. Suitable for various forms of archery, the Sanmun II is versatile enough to meet the needs of horseback archers, target shooters, and those practicing running archery. Extensively R&D tested in diverse conditions, particularly in Indonesia's hot climate, the Sanmun II has proven its resilience and reliability, ensuring consistent performance under pressure. The bow's design also minimizes vibration, providing a smoother shooting experience. Whether you are a seasoned archer or a passionate enthusiast, the Sanmun II is a worthy addition to your collection. Its combination of durability, lightweight design, precision, and beauty makes it a standout choice for any archer. The Sanmun II continues the proud tradition of Umaram Bow Company, delivering a product that not only meets but exceeds the expectations of the archery community.

Definitely gonna give that a try, I’ve heard two eyes open, is the way to sight in. I’ve been getting back into shooting traditional again and it’s been some work, can group, even punch a practice golf ball at 10yds and 20yds, but it’s one eye down the shaft sighting off the back of the fletching and following it down the arrow, but it’s a challenge and the aim point has to be adjusted, compensated in order to hit bullseye, center, and/or the hanging plastic golf ball. I also found trying to aim down the point, the target becomes blurry, so I’ve adjusted to make it work, but after seeing this clip, it’s definitely about keeping both eyes open and adopt to this aiming system I can see, it’s like that for gun shooting and sighting as well. Thx for the share on this subject 💯 🎯

the Parthian shot... i forget the guys name just now but it was very good advice. a fella once told i that it is a good idea to start a session throwing arrows with the Parthian shot to provide a measure of where our technique is at for overcoming the paradox the traditional medieval way. sure enough i gave his advice a try and it works. so when i practice i usually throw arrows in sets of six, the first three i throw Parthian and usually go up to around twenty four sets. i no longer use a glove as practicing this way has pretty much eliminated the instances of the fletchings scraping i knuckle on release. i still use a brace sometimes but only when throwing with the ottoman bow when sometimes i still get string slap against i forearm with the shorter brace height on the Turkish bows. never happens when i throw with the Mongolian or Indo Persian bows which is how i figure it's the brace height i am learning to overcome. practice makes perfect and sure enough it happens less and less so i am getting there. interestingly however it doesn't happen when i throw Parthian on a Turkish bow!

I personally burnish them after sanding using a very hard wood. this rounds them off perfectly and eliminates all sharp edges. Blessings from England and keep the content coming

Awesome looking bow, looks like assyrian style. Unfortunately, very expensive, including shipping and taxes to Europa more than 700 Euro, more than a Curon by Kyzl which seems to be similar and is an outstanding upper class bow. Nice and short review. However, I am always missing the draw test on the tiller stock.

I shoot slightly below 12gpp The blisters on my hand are manageable but the pain in my bones is a little concerning =D I love this bow so much and want to Master it one day so maybe i took it a little too far with over 100 shots per shooting day (4-5 times per week) Anyways. There is one more trick to string bows with siyhas. Using the step thru method but using a belt or the bow sleeve and tie it to your leg. Put the lower limb in that and it avoid twisting. The limb is than free to adjust it angle itself but is hold on the leg because of the belt, string or sleeve. I had the problem, that the limb is not a friend of my calf, so I´d try to avoid direct contact this way and turns out it is much better to handle. The weakest bow I own has 50 pounds, so it is also for heavier bows an option to consider.

So finally got to shoot my X8 for the first time today. I had to tie a couple knots in the string to get the brace height to 8". I didn't add the silencers yet. I wanted to shoot it raw first. I was shocked it's a hell of a shooter. The arrows that come with it are to heavy for the bow. I have a 500 spine with 125 G tips. And it shot light out. I will add the silencers. Im a target shooter. Ive never been hunting.
